Friends of the Crooked Tree District Library
Purpose: The main objective of the Friends of the Crooked Tree District Library is to assist in promoting knowledge of and participation in library programs; to aid in providing funds to meet special library programs; to support and cooperate with the library in developing services for the community; and to provide a channel for individuals to express ideas and make suggestions for library use and services. The Friends organization is committed to both the Walloon Lake and Boyne Falls locations.
The Friends of the Library was formed in 1998 and works very hard to raise funds to support both locations as well as the Endowment and Book Endowment funds. The Friends also support programs to enhance the community.

Meetings: The Friends meet at the Walloon Library on the third Monday of every month
(except December) at 1:30 PM.
